Lateshia Jackson is a graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program and ANCC Board Certified since 2013. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C, Massachusetts, and Washington State.
Prior to practicing as a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Lateshia Jackson received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University and A&M College. In 2007, she graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in psychiatric services at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD and George Washington University Hospital, in Washington DC.
She is credentialed to provide medication management, psychotherapy, and psychiatric evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults. Specialities include mood disorder, substance misuse, anxiety disorder, and psychotic disorder. Certified to prescribe suboxone for opiate misuse. Also certified to provide recommendations for medical cannabis in District of Columbia and Maryland.
