The psychiatric or diagnostic assessment is the first step to obtaining mental health treatment. During this evaluation, the clinician will inquire about current symptoms, prior care, family, and social history. Following this assessment, the clinician will discuss recommended treatment (i.e. therapy, medication management).

Medications are prescribed to clients with difficulty managing symptoms. Follow up appointments are scheduled based upon individual needs. Medications prescribed will be forwarded electronically to pharmacy of choice. This office does prescribe buprenorphine.

Medical cannabis recommendations for qualified residents of Maryland and District of Columbia only. Teleheath is not available for this service. Office visit is required. Please contact office for pricing.
